Meet the Founders
Central Tourism & Outfitting (CTO) is a family run business based in Baker Lake Nunavut Canada and owned by local Inuit husband and wife team Charlie Tautuaqjuk and Deanna Tupik. CTO was founded on the belief that Baker Lake with its rich culture, heritage, nature, and wildlife should be shared and experienced by all. Our intent is to maintain a family business legacy that will provide employment opportunities, and economic development for our community. CTO is the only 100% Inuit owned and operated company of its type in Baker Lake. In addition to CTO, Charlie also owns Prime Auto Services and Prime Safety Services.
